The Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology (AIAST) is the peak industry body for agricultural and natural resource management professionals. AIAST is committed to advancing the profession, and the application of science and technology, for the sustainable development of agriculture and natural resource management in Australia.

Membership of AIAST is open to any person who:

Holds an appropriate qualification in agriculture and/or natural resource management, or;
Has achieved professional status and a position of professional responsibility through a combination of post-secondary education and practical experience in agriculture and/or natural resource management.

Colleagues who do not possess the relevant qualifications but have a keen interest in professionalism in the agriculture and natural resource sectors may also apply.
