The Institute publishes the journal Agricultural Science. Its aims are to promote the advancement of Agricultural science in Australia, to further the interests of the institute and provide a medium for communication among members and all those interested in agriculture.
The Journal is a means by which professionals inform decision-makers and each other on matters of significance to the continuing development of agri-industry and the natural resource environment.

Agricultural Science contains general articles on all aspects of agriculture and natural resource management together with articles of specific interest to the profession.

Contributions are welcome and should be forwarded to the Managing Editor in an electronic form.
The Editor will consider for publication articles that provide information or an opinion which will be of interest to the diverse group of agriculturists and natural resource managers as a whole rather than specific disciplines. It is the intention of the Journal to provide general information on a variety of topics related to agri-industry and the natural resource environment while giving direction to those who wish to pursue a topic in detail. Submission of an article will be taken to mean that it has not been published elsewhere and has not been submitted for publication. Papers presented to conferences will not be considered to have been published unless they have been widely distributed as proceedings.
For articles, authors should also include a 50 word biography and a passport-size photograph (in jpeg format).
